WHAT IS IT?
The Arena Finals are the new end-of-season tournament for coaches who have successfully completed the Arena with 7 wins. It takes the form of an optional knockout tournament, which you can register for during the registration period, provided there are available slots.
For the Season 8 Arena Finals, the winner will receive a Play-In Ticket to the 2025 World Championship, 2,000 Warpstone, and the in-game title “S8 Arena Finals Winner.”
The competition is administered by Coach Morg, Kristofer_B, and Jimmy Fantastic. Final decisions may be made by Nacon Vitooc if necessary.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The Season 8 Arena Finals is open to coaches who have successfully completed the Season 8 Lustria Arena with 7 wins.
This first edition has limited slots. The first 256 coaches who successfully complete the registration process will be allowed to participate. Only teams that have successfully completed the Lustria Arena can be registered – one Team per Coach maximum.
To register, you first need to join the Official Discord of Blood Bowl 3 to submit your team for validation: https://discord.gg/JBqXB7tWN5
The registration period will begin on April 25, 2025. Discord channels mentioned will be available at this date.
To submit your team, take a screenshot or photo clearly showing your Team with your Blood Bowl 3 Coach Name and post it in the new #arena-finals-validation channel. This can be found in the new Arena Finals category of channels. Please also make sure your Discord username matches your in-game Blood Bowl 3 name.
Your Team Name must be clearly visible along with your Roster and the Team Value. Include the Inducements screen if you have any.
The team you submit must be the same Team with which you successfully completed the Lustria Arena. If you completed the Lustria Arena with multiple teams, choose the one you wish to register—only one team per coach is allowed.
Admins will then verify that your team has completed the Lustria Arena and is built correctly. If approved, you will receive a Password and details via Discord DM to register your team in-game.
If you complete the Lustria Arena with a different team before the Validation Deadline, you may swap teams by repeating the same validation process. You must clearly indicate the previous team you are replacing.
The Validation Deadline is Sunday, 8th June 2025 (23:00 UTC). Coaches who have completed the Lustria Arena must submit their team by this date to receive the password, which will be sent by DM on Discord.
The first 256 Teams to then Register using this password, after successfully going through the whole process, by the Registration Deadline of Sunday 15th June 2025 (23:00 UTC) will participate in the Season 8 Arena Finals.
Coaches who register without going through this process will be disqualified from participating. Submiting your team on Discord does not guarantee your participation, you need to make sure to complete the whole process until you are registered in the competition in-game.
FORMAT & ROUNDS
The Competition is structured as a single-elimination knockout tournament, with one match per round. Matches will proceed to overtime and penalty kicks if necessary. Coaches will have one week to complete their matches against their designated opponents.
Each round starts on Monday (01:00 UTC) and must be completed by Sunday (23:00 UTC). Matches must be scheduled in the #arena-finals-schedule channel, located in the Arena Finals category of channels on the Blood Bowl 3 Official Discord.
The exact dates for each round are:
- Round 1: June 23 to June 29
- Round 2: June 30 to July 6
- Round 3: July 7 to July 13
- Round 4: July 14 to July 20
- Round 5: July 21 to July 27
- Quarter Finals: July 28 to August 3
- Semi Finals: August 4 to August 10
- Final: August 11 to August 17
A date must be agreed between the 2 coaches by the Wednesday (23:00 UTC) of that week at the latest. If a date is not agreed on, the Admins will force a date & time for the game to be played by. This decision for the date is final.
Should a match not be played due to the players not agreeing on a schedule date, or the players not being able to play on the date enforced by Admins, then the Admins will vote on who goes through or if both are disqualified.
Admins will review the #arena-finals-schedule channel when deciding if either (or both) participants are disqualified – this decision is final.
A list of Coach Names & Discord Name will be provided in the #arena-finals-coaches channel in the Arena Finals category of channels.
REWARDS
The Winner of the Season 8 Arena Finals will receive:
- A Play-In Ticket to the 2025 World Championship
- 2,000 Warpstone
- The “S8 Arena Finals Winner” title in-game
- Automatic Qualification to the Season 9 Arena Finals with any Team Faction
The Runner Up of the Season 8 Arena Finals will receive:
- 1,000 Warpstone
- Automatic Qualification to the Season 9 Arena Finals with the same Team Faction
