Season 5 has come to an end, and the Champions Cup (Official Ladder Playoff) offers the final chance to secure a ticket to the 2024 World Championship.
A few late Supported Competitions are also nearing their conclusion, and their winners will earn a spot at the World Championship. The list below will be updated once the final tickets are awarded.
The 2024 World Championship kicks off on October 27th, featuring 64 players in a resurrection format. The group stage will require each participant to play one match per week, with 32 players advancing at the end of this stage.
The knockout stage begins on November 17th, with one week allotted to complete each round leading up to the quarterfinals.
Make sure to mark your calendars for the weekend of December 6th to 8th, when the final eight participants will face off in the quarterfinals. Matches will be played over two rounds plus a tiebreaker if needed. The first two rounds will be played without overtime, and the outcome of each match will determine the winner. For example, if Player A wins the first round and draws the second, he wins the matchup. If Player A wins round 1 and Player B wins round 2, regardless of the number of touchdowns, a third round tiebreaker will be played, with overtime activated if there is a draw after 16 turns.
Prepare yourself for intense competition this fall, with potential three-round showdowns in the Final 8 that will test the skill, strategy, and endurance of every player.
The final ruleset, along with the group stage draw, will be announced at a later date.
