The Champions Cup competition arrives to Blood Bowl 3! This tournament will be the seasonal playoffs of the Official Ladder, organized by the Champions Cup Admins, formerly known as the CCL Admins. Until Blood Bowl 3 transitions to crossplay, only the PC Official Ladder teams will be eligible to participate in this popular competition.
In addition to warpstone prizes, each Season will reward the best performing team of the PC Official Ladder, and the Champions Cup semifinalists, with tickets for the 2024 World Championship. If the rank #1 of the regular season reaches the semifinal of the playoffs, then the rank #2 of the regular season secures a ticket for the World Championship, and so on.
You will find below a summary of the rules to access the Season 3 Playoffs.
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE OFFICIAL LADDER PLAYOFFS
The Season 3 Champions Cup will be a 64 coaches single elimination knockout tournament with team progression. Its seeding will be based on the team’s final position in the PC Official Ladder.
- The highest ranked team of each race will be invited first.
- Then, the remaining invitations until 64 will be sent to the other highest ranked teams.
The team you qualify with is the one that will compete in this Official Ladder Playoffs, so do not delete your team or the ticket will go to the next in line.
The 1800k TV Cap will apply all along the tournament and players are expected to make sure their team remains under the cap before starting each of their playoff matches.
